Nanotechnology in Biofuels

Nano materials have propitious application in biofuel fabrication as they are tiny and with huge surface area to-volume proportion, and great synergist properties which are answerable for upgrading the development of different kinds of biofuel, for example, biohydrogen, biodiesel, and bioethanol.

The greater part of the fuel properties can be improved by adding nanoparticles. NPs in biofuel creation give consistent compound response and diminish biofuel's expense of creation. Utilization of NPs fundamentally expands BTE and lessens BSFC in diesel motors. NPs diminishes destructive fumes outflow released from diesel motor.

Commonly used Nano additives for producing biofuels are titanium dioxide, ferrosoferric oxide, tin oxide, zinc oxide, and carbon.
