Biogas

Biogas is a thick vaporous substance produced from the decomposed matter. When the microbes invade the organic substances like vegetable waste or animal waste and undergo anaerobic respiration results in the production of Methane, little amount of carbon dioxide and other gases. Biogas can also be called as bio methane or marsh gas or compost gas. Biogas is a wonderful source of renewable energy that can be used for transportation, cooking and generate electricity without damaging the environment. Production, procurement and utilization of biogas for the above aids are considered as a sustainable development. This session also focuses on the fallowing terms.
